• Sacrificial anodes have the task of protecting parts of the watercraft that are under the surface of the water from galvanic corrosion.

• As the name suggests, the anode is "sacrificed" by exposing it to the electrochemical corrosion that would otherwise attack metal components such as impeller, jet pump nozzle or motor, which prevents these components from corroding and destroying.

• Galvanic corrosion can cause major damage if not handled properly.

• Inspect the sacrificial anode at least once a month.

• Replace the sacrificial anode with a new one when it has degraded to 50%.
