Zinc anode for Sea-Doo
Sacrificial anodes have the task of protecting parts of the jet ski that are under the water's surface from galvanic corrosion.
As the name suggests, the anode is "sacrificed" by subjecting it to the electrochemical corrosion that would otherwise attack metal components such as the impeller, jet pump nozzle or motor, preventing these components from corroding and destroying.
Galvanic corrosion can cause major damage if not handled properly.
Inspect the sacrificial anode at least once a month.
Replace the sacrificial anode with a new one when it has degraded to 50%.
